Magnetic separators are divided into dry magnetic separators and wet magnetic separators.

Magnetic separators are one of the most versatile machines used in the industry, suitable for removing iron powder from recycled powdered particles. Magnetic separators are commonly used for resource recovery in factories such as the wood industry, mining, kiln industry, chemical, and food industries. Magnetic separators are suitable for wet or dry magnetic separation of materials such as magnetite, pyrrhotite, roasted ore, and ilmenite with a particle size of less than 3 mm, and are also used for iron removal of materials such as coal, non-metallic minerals, and building materials. The magnetic system of the magnetic separator is mostly made of high-quality ferrite materials or composited with neodymium iron boron magnets. The average magnetic induction intensity of the drum surface was 800-4000mT in the past. At present, due to the development of technology, magnetic separators can be made into rollers, and the magnetic field intensity has also been increased to 8000mT. This is the highest magnetic field intensity currently measured.

At present, the equipment using NdFeB magnets include: drum permanent magnetic separator, roller permanent magnetic separator, permanent magnetic pulley and high gradient multi-ring permanent magnetic separator (also known as iron wheel machine).

Our company has recently developed a new type of ceramic designated magnetic separation device (also known as magnetic separator), which completely replaces the electromagnet structure, saves electricity and energy, and has two working areas of 8000GS and 10000GS, which have been mass-produced.
