Aluminum nickel cobalt magnet (AlNiCo) is a permanent magnetic material based on iron with aluminum, nickel, cobalt and other elements added. It belongs to the field of electrical engineering. It has the characteristics of high remanence, low temperature coefficient and stable magnetism. It is resistant to high temperature, moisture and oxidation. The working temperature can reach 650℃. The remanence strength is higher than that of ordinary permanent magnets. The composition of its metal components is different, and the magnetic properties are also different, so the uses are also different. Aluminum nickel cobalt can be produced by two different processes: casting and sintering. The casting process can produce magnetic steel with higher performance and more complex shapes; compared with the casting process, sintered products are limited to small sizes and relatively low performance products, but it is easier to control tolerances. This material is widely used in the instrument industry to manufacture magneto-electric instruments, aerospace, flow meters, micro motors and relays and other equipment.
